With the unemployment rate among Maasai women at 95%, many women of the village find it difficult to fund their children's education.
The Maasai women are renowned for their intricate jewelry, and often their sole income depend on selling their handicrafts to tourists who visit Kenya. Our mission is to provide them with a larger market here in the United States and at much more lucrative pricing levels than they would sell for in Kenya. All the jewelry is 100% hand-made in Kenya and shipped to Laguna Beach.
